I have been a client of E Rejuvenation Centre and Aiping Wang Fulepp for over seven years now and at all times I have been highly satisfied with the service, treatments and education offered.

Of the Rejuvenation treatments that I have received there on an occasional basis, I would say that the client service goes beyond outstanding in both care and skill, and that after Rejuvenation I am always left feeling very deeply relaxed, refreshed and lightened – this feeling continues way beyond the day of treatment.

I would like to mention two particularly impressive health results I have had over the last seven years.

In December 2000, when I first visited E Rejuvenation Centre, I had been habitually smoking again for five years. Prior to that I had had eight years completely free, and occasional/social use before that. After my first visit where I followed a half hour relaxation, and an assurance that they would help me, I revisited a few times over the next fortnight, mainly out of curiosity and a wish to understand more, but deep-down convinced  that it would be my own efforts that would get rid of the smoking, and that I was not there yet.

On Christmas Eve, eleven days after I first visited E Rejuvenation Centre, I was suddenly aware I hadn’t had one cigarette during this time – I mentioned it to a family friend who offered me one, and I was able to say “No” without any feeling of determination or effort at all. It was as if the whole notion of smoking had slipped into the past and any power it had had for me had been totally diluted to ‘flush away’ status. Seven years on, bar a short lapse of a couple of weeks in 2003 while staying at the house of a smoker, I have been cigarette free. Something shifted with no conscious effort or will power on my part and I am and will always be more than grateful for that gift.

The second result came in the autumn of 2006, when just after visiting E Rejuvenation Centre to book a massage, I managed to trip and fall on the street and give my left wrist a Smith’s fracture (known in the medical world as “nasty”, “difficult” and “complicated”).

I went to the A and E of the nearest hospital where I had to wait three and a half hours for the orthopaedic staff on duty who were in theatre fixing a broken hip. Primary diagnosis from other staff following an X-ray indicated that while they might pull and set it that night, as it was bad there was a definite possibility I would need surgery and possibly metal pins. I was not happy about this prospect.

During the wait in A and E, I listened continuously to a recorded relaxation on my MP3 that had been produced by E Rejuvenation Centre, and which I had always found effective. Although my wrist had a slight feeling of numb, dull ache it was not acutely painful and I felt no need for the pain relief – paracetamol etc that they kept offering me.

I was seen just before midnight by two hard-worked interns – they said they would set it as best as possible, but that the consultant would decide on treatment in the morning, and that as it was nasty, I should not be too hopeful of  a simplistic solution. After it had been pulled and set (“he’s done a really beautiful job” the female intern told me), I was transferred to a ward for the rest of the night, where I continued to use the MP3 relaxation throughout the night and did another  relaxation by phone early in the morning.

When the consultant arrived with his team, he reiterated the good work done in the setting, but added that with this type of fracture there was the strong tendency for the set bone to slip once the swelling had gone down. However he said I could go home and return to his clinic in a week’s time for review, with the proviso that I would immediately go to the hospital should there be any change or pain.

During that week, I relaxed three times a day using the MP3 recording, and also attended E Rejuvenation Centre twice for longer guided relaxation with an instructor. When I went to the consultant’s clinic the following week, an x-ray showed that there had been a very miniscule slip of the bone, but nothing that impeded the setting or healing. The consultant said that it seemed remarkable, but that it was early days yet and I was to return again in a week’s time.

I continued the MP3 relaxation three times daily and two guided sessions at E Rejuvenation Centre. I also used daily phone sessions with an instructor, and did early morning physical exercises in the park.

X-rays and check at the following week’s clinic showed no slips or displacements at all. I then continued the routine appointments, x-rays and plaster changes for the next two months, along with the daily exercises, and relaxations at home, without problems before being discharged for six months in December.

I had a question answer session with the consultant who told me that given his experience of this type of fracture, and the break that I incurred, he would have been willing to bet money on me needing surgery and insertion of one or more pins, and that I was very lucky. Once again I remain more than appreciative of this result.
